yeah, i've been meaning to try this in my s3is - there's a firmware hack that allows me to do something similar to the bulb mode on dslrs, but it's been so unbelievably hot here in cebu that you could rarely see dark clouds, and the last actual lightning i saw was probably in december or something. nice shots everyone. if you could create a colorize layer on your shots, you can easily manipulate the color of your lightning ^_^

There are some amazing shots in this thread - I am looking forward to getting a camera I can try this with. My little glorified P&S is a little too hard to work with heh.

There's my only lightning shot. I need to find myself in a situation where I can have a better/nicer looking foreground. Since luck has a lot to do with it, I guess I can't be too picky.
