I had it happen once by accident, after the luck of the shot, I tried doing it again different times, but never came out quite as good.

Well done, wulf. I really don't know why I haven't tried this technique yet. But when I do, I will most definitely post it on DPS. I do have one question... do you think it's better to zoom out instead of in when doing these types of photos? Or does it matter?

Try both and see what works. I haven't experimented enough to give a definitive answer but I suspect it comes back to the golden rule of photography - "let your eyes be the judge" (*).

(*) Noting, of course, that the more work you do on understanding composition, etc, the better your eyes will be!

ps. I love Sunday0303's example - that works really well on the windows.
