Default One Light Fashion Shoot

I shot this in my studio in front of a white background.

The model was about a metre away from the back drop, about half a metre away from the beauty dish.

Great job. I love simple yet effective "one light source" shots. So much so that I actually get docked on my grades because I wont use a "background light". TFS

I completely agree with you. I think sometimes the best shots are done with minimal lighting

Question. Did you have her lean forward or was your camera above her eye level?

Lovely shot.

I asked her to lean forward. When a model leans forward a little bit it gives her more of an hour glass figure.

Default Great lighting

Sometimes the best lighting is the simplest setup! Great shot here and I've never heard about the leaning forward trick! Nice! I'll definitely have to try and remember that one! I try and encourage all my photography friends to at least start with only one light.

nicely done. Been considering getting a beauty dish myself. Seeing this has added fuel to the fire

Love the shot! I always love the simplicity of one light shoots.

I might have used a fill card to pop some light up into her eyes a bit more.

It's amazing how versatile a white background is.

Great job, and she's a beauty!
