The image was shot through the glass at the Detroit Zoo's Herpetology House. I kept the flash off to limit reflection from the glass and tried to tighten in on the cobra's head. It was one of my first shots with this camera, my first DSLR. I like the shot, but wish I could have removed the few stray grass leaves that are in the shot. There is no post-processing to the shot beyond the default settings for Capture NX2 on the original RAW file.
