Okay...
First of all: that's the first time I post on this forum, so please be patient. I taked this after lunch some days after I bought my new camera, a FujiFilm FinePix S2950. Me and a coworker were walking on Centro Velho (Old Center) of São Paulo (Brazil) on a region with many outlets with uncommon business, like selling vintage toys and specialized music stores. I saw this toys on a showcase and I thought I could make a good shot. I need to confess: I used auto settings, just thinking on composition and framing. I used Macro mode focusing on the tramcar and on the fireman hat, It inspired me somewhat my childhood, when, even having Videogames and so on, we liked more to play fireman and cops & robbers, and so on. I didn't used any special filter and no flash, as it would only make the photo worse. The photo had no Photoshop (or better, GIMP, as I'm a Linux user) and no post-processing. I think I failed a little on framing (the space between the glasses of the showcase looks not good), but I think the general result was very okay in my level. Tech details:

About the "support rod": there is no one. This is the gap between the glasses on the showcase.. Unfortunately there's no better angle for the shot... The fireman hat was expose that way literally (it was "cutted" by the gap...)
About bokeh... Maybe I'll try some GIMP on it... I used Macro so I could not "unfocus" the background, AFAIK. Thanks about the comments and I'm glad you liked my photo. |

The part of this shot that bothers me, is those purple boxes of ??? It looks like it says perola da sorte. What is that? I searched and I think it means lucky pearls. Anyway, it just doesn't belong with the subject of vintage toys. My opinion, of course. Otherwise, great shooting.
Thanks
