Default Midnight Clouds

Cloudy Night

Full moon was out.
Didnt want to blow out the picture with the moon brightness.
Pulled focus all the way back and had on manual.
f9 appeture as I wanted to really expose the cloud movement and detail in frame
5 minute exposure
Was pretty much pitch black when pic was taken. Can see a bit of gold light spillage from the street lights.
Thanks for looking

Cheers
Jason

I'd almost have been tempted to go a little longer on the exposure.

Very cool, I like it.

Did you have to do much processing to it or was the 5 minute exposure enough to grab all that light?
Interesting...

Beautiful shot... I hoped the stars weren't blurry though.... Very difficult I guess with 5 mins of exposure.

Thanks all

Played with the brightness and contrast slightly in raw. Not to much else done. Tried to rely on exposure alone. Wanted to do some with a longer exposure but had just finished a 10 hour shift and thought enough is enough...lol

Thanks again

I like that alot. The clouds are beautiful (I'm guessing the wispy smoothness must be from the exposure time). As somebody frustrated at long exposure without the luxury of city lights, this gives some inspiration.
