Nice shots. Now for an assignment. Go back to the images, review the EXIF data and work out why the camera selected those settings. Once you get your mind around that, go out and try to reproduce the shot in the M, A and P settings. Keep on shooting and learning from your good ones and the bad ones.

Thanks for the great advise. I will try following it and see if I can recreate similar quality pictures.

BTW, this was taken in Mauritius, it is a gorgeous island in Indian Ocean just east of Madagascar
