Smile Fast in NYC

I took the shoot in NYC in my summer trip, while I was walking on the street on the time square. My gear was on ISO 2400, f/22 1/100 shutter. I used 5D markII with canon f/2.8 lens.
I wanted to show another perspective for the city. Once I got to NY i planned to take a picture which going to represent the photo of the trip. So, beside all the usual elements of the city, from the tall building to the yellow caps and the signs, I thought those two motorcyclist will be interesting in the shoot.
I used photoshop for post production, although the photo is black and white with the yellow cap and bus, the focus is on the tow motorcycle. I think that I was in the right place on the right time. And, I hope I was a little bit back but I was crossing the street and the car were moving.

Why were you at f/22 and ISO2400?

Pretty neat.... interested in why you chose those settings as well. I assume those bikes were moving pretty slow? The tats are pretty interesting on the far bike. Wonder how she would look colorized?

I also agree with the two other posters.
When I saw ISO of 2400, my eyes did one of these numbers ....
I never venture past 800. Yet alone 2400!!!

Unless its a typo. And you mean 240.

If he wanted to keep everything in focus at F22 and the available light wasn't enough to give him a proper exposure at 1/100th of a second I can see him increasing the ISO to 2400... What do you guys think?

But did it have to go to F/22 in order to keep everything in focus? I don't know, I am asking the question.
