Red face Smoke and Sun

I took this at about 1 in the afternoon on a sunny day. My dad had been burning branches, and the smoke form the fire was floating up into the trees. I was walking around staring at the smoke, when I got just the right angle. The sunlight burst through the branches and shone on the smoke through the leaves. The smoke was actually revealing the individual rays of sun. I ran inside for my camera, and it took me at least five minutes to find the exact angle again. But this is one of my results.

Just beautiful!
Ain't nothing like being at the right place at the right time (and with your camera).

Very cool capture, I was just burning off leaves and twigs the last 2 days. Had a similar effect here, sun behind a tree, the smoke was going through it producing awseome, sunlight images. Didn't get any pics, was too busy enjoying looking at it.
