Default Homage to Ghostbusters

I took this shot ages ago and forgot about it. I found it again when my camera club was running a competition for amusing self portraits. Anyway, I have created my own homage to the greatest fantasy film ever made, Ghostbusters.

This is my take on the scene where Sigourney Weaver's character discovers an alternate dimension in her fridge, in which a demonic creature named Zool resides.

The camera was placed inside my empty fridge on a gorilla pod with a cable release and external flashgun, angled to bounce off the ceiling of the fridge, so as not to blow out the face.

Camera Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture f/22.0
Focal Length 21 mm
ISO Speed 400

I then used a skin smoothing action with a layer mask to give the image more of a comic book feel and added a red hue in Photoshop.
