Default Riding in the Dark

Riding in the Dark

I was looking at my bicycle, deciding whether or not I should go for a ride to get a little exercise. I came to the conclusion I would rather take a picture of it. I figured this would be more interesting.

I set the aperture at f/16 and traced the tires, bikes and my father with an LED wand I made.

I made three lights, white, blue and red. I attached them to a piece of basswood and ran a wire down to the battery. I bent the wire up to keep it off the battery and press it down to complete the circuit and run the light. I am still trying to streamline the wand to make an actual button instead of using the bare wire to complete the circuit. Once I figure out the best way, I will let ya’ll know.

This shot only took about 15 minutes to shoot but took some bumping up the brightness in Lightroom, f/16 was a little too tight of an aperture to get the right amount of light in. I probably should have gone down to f/13 but we live and we learn. The furthest bike just didn’t show up enough straight out of the camera.
