Hi, baajero,

There's no doubt that this is an amazing photo. Here's a little bit info about bracketing for you.

In HDR photography a single shot isn't sufficient to achieve a High Dynamic Range. Therefore, the photographers want to take multiple shots varying the exposure and ISO settings to achieve a good range. Bracketing is that process or feature in the Digital Cameras which allows the photographers to do exactly this. Thus, in a simple words, it means taking multiple shots (generally 3 to 5) to capture the scene better. These multiple shots can then be combined or processed by using software like Photomatix Pro and Photoshop to get one good HDR photograph.
