It was an unusually warm fall day here in NYC and I decided to take the Staten Island Ferry back and forth to see what kind of shots I could get. (You can see some more of the shots on my photo blog. Feel free to comment if you visit.)
Before the ferry pulled out of its slip on Staten Island, I noticed this flag in a rather unorthodox location. ![]() All I did to this image in the end was crop it very slightly. Your thoughts? Aperture: f/11 Focal length: 180 mm ISO: 800 Shutter: 1/800 sec Camera; Nikon D3100 ©2011, Mark L. Fendrick |

I actually "borrowed" your photo to try the selective colorization, and it turned out pretty nice. I hope you don't mind... and I promise I am not going to do anything with your photo or try to claim it as my own... I just wanted to see how it would look. I've only done selective colorization a couple times, but I like it.
