Ah! Just last night I was looking over some old notes I had from a photography course I took in the last millenium trying to figure out why the bigger number meant a smaller aperature and what the heck that "f" stood for. Well, not sure if it stands for "fraction" but it will certainly help me to relate f/22 to 1/22 and f/5 to 1/5. Thanks for pointing that out!

yumm.. sunshine

I love to take pictures of the sun... i even love the lens flare... i shoot the couds, sky & sun often, maybe in pure appreciation of it;s beauty, but definitely the starriness makes it sooo much better. Nice post Alex

most numbers when they are standing on thier own without anything when it coems to photogrpahy often mean fractions, when symbols such as " are added they start to become whole number! F stands for appreture, what ever works for you is the best thing to go for! f=appreture /=fraction 2=apprute of 1/2 if that makes any sense!

ellibob thats quite the nice shot there

If the lens flare isnt wanted its also pretty easy to remove in Ps maybe that is the next tutorial, just simple cloning and healting tool i guess!

TY! I have PS but don't have a clue how to use it.. if you do tutorials please let me know! I don't think any of my editing softwares will remove flare

I like the lensflare and love the effect f22 had on the sun.
