hello everyone,
I am new to this field. i have heard from many photographers that editing kills the picture, but at that same time I think that it enhance the image. I have edited this photograph, so I need to know that... is it looking fake???

plz tell me how to get rid of glitches on edges after masking any object in an image???

Yogesh, Don't let the language issue bother you. Many people here are from around the world so it isn't really an issue as long as you get your point across.

The image linked does look enhanced but does not look "fake". It would be done in the old days with a filter applied to the lens of the camera. So to those who poo-poo any image that is edited or as I like to say developed. Well they really aren't being true to the art of photography. All of Ansel Adams images were developed and adjusted and so are most of any photographer that has images used in commercial or art photography unless they specifically do SOOC images and then if they use a digital or film camera some adjustments are made anyway.

To add, you will get better responses if you post your image in the post instead of a link. Just copy and paste the image url in the image icon dialog box. And it should show up like this. Just remember to only use the medium image as the larger ones are too large for the forum posting rules.

Nice image.

Jim

The green clouds aren't realistic, but in all honesty, I really like the image. I like the tones used for it. There's nothing that says a photo has to be exactly realistic.

I think its nice, I would try turning down the green a little though, just because of that cloud and the slight green cast I see ear the bottom

There is absolutely nothing wrong with editing your shots, you're the artist, it's you're work, you need to express it how you want
