Exclamation shooting the rainbow on west maui

wanted to share with you guys an awesome experience I had yesterday!

I was hiking through the mountainside on west Maui searching for a spot to snap some panoramic / hdr shots. As a small rain cloud entered the valley i decided to remain in the valley waiting for the sun to start dropping. before i knew it, it was raining everywhere! had to cover all my equipment with my clothes. I didn't bring a camera cover. after a few minutes, the clouds dissipated and i was blessed with a double rainbow! I did my best to capture the rainbow's size and beauty.

Because of the harsh lighting behind me i decided to use my camera bracketing and snap 3 shots for each picture (3). Here were my settings:

f/8.0 throughout every shot

3 different exposures bracketed @ 1/60, 1/200, 1/640

ISO 100

@10mm

aloha!

A rare moment indeed. The rain bow looks to be coming out of a valley, in my mind makes the shot

Looks like a 'money shot' to me!

Not overdone with hdr too....

Who was it who said the secret to photography is 'f8 and be there'??
