Thumbs up Professional photography without professional equipment: just do it!

Do you remember my guest post here ? Here is is: Tabletop Photography Walkthrough or How to Create an Eye-Catching Product Shot .
I have promised to get the same or similar photo without using any professional equipment? This weekend I’ve spent less then hour to get it done, the result is below.



I've shot this Droid X phone using $55 construction lighting and other stuff which was laying around:-)

im using nikon d40x.pls which apperture and shutter speed can i use to take a group of 20 people photograph outdoor
