Default A Detailed Explaination Of My Workflow For Outdoor HDR>>>>>>>>>

Hey guys - Oloneo FINALLY released v.1.0 of their HDR software PhotoEngine. I've been using the beta for almost a year.

I decided to do some work integrating PE into my workflow, and did an article with a step-by-step explanation along with some sample photos:

Putting It All Together....With Oloneo PhotoEngine v.1.0 | ThruMyLens

Let me know what you think of the images!

Im not usually a fan of HDR: it almost always looks fake and often looks really bad. Your examples aren't all that bad, though they are obviously HDR (and the Rhine falls one in particular is overdone).

There's a fine line between doing HDR to get that extra bit of dynamic range, and overdoing the HDR and ending up with something garish. You're flirting with it.

Admittedly, my own style tends to lean more toward photo realistic/photo journalistic. Which is one big reason I like Oloneo PhotoEngine - it can produce very natural results.
