Hey guys - Oloneo FINALLY released v.1.0 of their HDR software PhotoEngine. I've been using the beta for almost a year.
I decided to do some work integrating PE into my workflow, and did an article with a step-by-step explanation along with some sample photos: Putting It All Together....With Oloneo PhotoEngine v.1.0 | ThruMyLens Let me know what you think of the images! Im not usually a fan of HDR: it almost always looks fake and often looks really bad. Your examples aren't all that bad, though they are obviously HDR (and the Rhine falls one in particular is overdone).
There's a fine line between doing HDR to get that extra bit of dynamic range, and overdoing the HDR and ending up with something garish. You're flirting with it.
