Default Beautiful Rose

Rose by name with a rose from nature. I felt this had to be a BW image.

Selective color was extremely popular for a while but has more recently gone the way of disco dancing and the pet rock. However, in this image the dramatic lighting and pose more than overcome what would otherwise be a handicap.

Thumbs up

Glayva,
It has been awhile since I was on the board but I see your remarkable talent has not changed. It is art, not a disco ! LOL. What a perfect shot. Love it...Love it...Love it!! Keep showing and I will keep learning. Thanks my friend for the photo.

Hey Tony,
Love your work! I hope I can be halfway as good as you if not three-quarter. Anyway, I looked at your work in your blogs and the pics are impressive.

BTW, Did you do your own web site? I would like to do something similar. Any hint?

Thanks,
--D

Thank you guys for your messages. Glad you liked this image. It is one I've taken from my portfolio done a while back. It's on my blog "Bride from the Convent" It was shot in a very remote part of Portugal where I came across an old abandoned convent. The model is 14 years old and borrowed her mother's wedding dress for the shoot. It was one of my all time favorite projects.

No, I did not do my own design. I am totally useless when it comes to anything connected with computers, software or web design. It is one of the Profoto blogs by Netrivet. I do not think they are providing any more. It was quite expensive. Take a look at Websites for Photographers and Artists They offer very good websites at very good prices.
