In the absence of hi-tech telescope & other equipment my passion for astrography compelled me to create some astrographic effects. I used my dslr 1000D and fuji finepix s1500 along with some shiny sequins, UHU glue, and black color drawing sheet to capture these effects, some glowing effects were done on photoshop.here is a brief
1. I took a black color drawing sheet and spread UHU glue over an area of 6"x6" I used UHU glue stick 2. took few multicolor sequins of different size I took these from my wife stitching box 3.pasted the sequins over glue area do not paste very closely leave the gum area as it is or paste some shiny tiny sequins 4. place fluorescent lamp at appropriate position to get nice reflection on sequins with the change of angle and position of lamp you will get many nice and strange effects 5 after taking good number of shots use photoshop to crop and add lens flare tool to give sparkling effects to distant stars and other astronomical objects. I hope you will like my photos ![]() thanks for viewing I have created a set of 4 photos on my flickr page you may visit if you like to see some other same effects... suggestion and guidance is always welcome Moazzam Flickr: Moazzam Saeed's Photostream www.flickr |
