Default One Shot HDR

I shot the image in RAW and processed it in CS5's Camera RAW. I created 5 exposures +- 2 stops saved each as tiff. Using HDR Efex Pro, I merged the 5 exposures. Did some tweaking and wallah! Finished it in LR3 with some color adjustments.

Interesting idea - why did you decide to do it all in post rather than taking 3 or more photos?

This process is perfect for images of people, birds and any other creature that won't be perfectly still for 3 or more frames.

Very urban decay looking, I've done the pseudo HDR processing for the same reason you suggested, also for shots that I thought would simply look good as an HDR conversion.
