![]() This was shot originally as two exposures. The first was of me in a burnt out, grafittied house. The light was one Bowens 500pro with a bare reflector camera left. The second shot was the roof of this house, a burnt wooden beam roof that was all charred and gritty, great texture! In photoshop cs5, i merged the two by dragging the roof on top of the portrait. Then I masked the roof, dropped the opacity to about 45%, and used a black brush to brush the texture of the roof away from my face and arms, going for a fade into the texture. I also masked some of the graffiti back in. I really like how it came out, hope you like it too!

Love it!
I've gotta say, one of my favorite things about this photo is the shadow to the right of you (I pick out the weirdest things in photos to love....). I'm not sure why I like that. I think its because is stretched out and gives it slightly more depth. But im not sure... The graffiti is interesting too, kind of... i dono, scribbled on. Anyways.... awesome. |
