Default Light painting cars (no extra gear)

This shot is 'out of the camera' and really easy to do, set your camera to 'bulb mode' on a tripod then after the shutter is pressed 'paint' the car (or other object) with a torch To achieve a great effect. Have a go and let's see your results.

light elise

This was taken on a very dark road, the red and White lights you see are from a car passing between the camera and lotus. It could really do with a crop top and bottom which I may do at a later date.

Nikon D90
Ex 5.5
Iso 200

I really like that shot! What F stop were you using? And how fast was the other car going?

I was using F16 and the car was only doing about 30mph, thanks for your comments.
