My second attempt at motion blur (at night)
I shot this using 55mm focal length with an ISO of 100, shutter set to 30 secs and the f-stop at 5.6. While it isn't exactly full of blur I just love how sharp the street is with the light of the cars going through it (because it was taken late in the evening its actually only 2 cars). I tried all sorts of settings, I found 30 secs (and probably even longer) best, and a nice low f-stop to get the clarity. The most time comsuming part was going to AF then focusing on something, then going back to manual focus to take the pic (otherwise the camera would complain there was not enough light).....but with practice I'll get it. My next try will be during the day!! Last edited by Cat695; 12-30-2010 at 10:58 PM. |
