Default Practicing Some Focus Stacking Techniques>>>>

Hey Guys,

For my first post here on Digital Photography School, I thought I'd share a photo and the "making of" story behind it which is on my site ThruMyLens:

Practicing Some Focus Stacking Techniques | ThruMyLens

Enjoy, and let me know your thoughts on the photo!

Thumbs up

Brilliant work. This is something that stumps me often when i try to go very very close to the subject. Wonderful tutorial too, so I will give this a shot on my next free weekend. And I promise to share the result. Thank you, and TFS!

Can it be called 'Focus Bracketing'?

Excellent knowledge shared, Rolex!

This is my first post too!

Thanks for sharing... I tried something similar when taking pictures of a guy doing a tattoo on my friend. It came out really nice but it was a lot harder than I expected... Maybe I'll practice on a still life subject before going for the 'big boy stuff'.

Yeah, I'm not at all sure how you'd use this technique on live, moving subjects.
