Red face Failed Photography

I tried to make an Adidas commercial by producing light trails etc. So I my bicycle. The reason why it failed because after many attempts, I could not get a proper shot. im gonna try again soon. However, this is how I did it and I would like to share it with you guys.



Tape was really strong and firm, no doubt. Well, This is the best that I got.



sorry if this was not a good post. just thought of it as something worth to share..

the setup is nice,, but it requires a fisheye to show what u want to capture!

yeah.. sadly I cant change lenses and they don sell its mount for compact cameras.. xD will try next time if i get the chance to upgrade.. but what Im worried is that if i Use a dslr, it might be too heavy..

haha.. and not only that, the weigh will make the bike unbalanced.. might have to buy wheels too.. xD

I agree that a fish-eye would give you more of the light trails, but you would need a dSLR for that which might get damaged if it falls off of the bike (or the bike falls on it).

You could compromise though; people have shown photos on this forum before with motion blur effects... My idea for you would be to take a photo of someone running (keeping them in focus but the background blurred) and from that you would hopefully get a photo of the Adidas logo in focus but with a blurred background - emphasizing speed etc.

OR: get someone to coast on a bike in front of you (which would keep them, their feet and the bike in a consistent shape) then focus on their foot and shoot away - you would hopefully then get a photo of the logo in focus with a blurred background and the bicycle like you wanted...

Thanks! yeah maybe being off the bike would be much safer and perhaps, easier to control.. just that i dont have much of an aid around.. xD
