That's the surprising thing about the image, it's a compact camera, not a DSLR. Great picture and thanks. I've seen water drops focussed more sharply--wonder if that's possible, with such a camera.

Thank you very much. =) yes i used manual focus but Its live view, so the screen does not show its real sharpness compared to really looking at it, and i think its noise is abit high.. xD

I've also got a Pentax P&S. I've done the same thing,....the timing is kinda hard to get with a P&S I think. If you have your flash on, or set to soft flash, it can freeze the action quicker. Having the flash on makes the shutter speed quicker. You can always diffuse the flash on a P&S by placing some scotch tape over the flash, or if you want no flash but the quick shutter speed, but a piece of opaque tape over the flash. Like electrical tape,...just make sure you dont leave it there, or it will leave sticky gunk. If you ever wonder what your cameras EXIF info is, you can put your camera in the various modes, take a photo of anything, and then upload them to Picasa and it will tell you. My Flickr is entirely shots taken with my P&S. There are many ways to get inventive with a P&S and make it work.
