Hi guys,
This is my first thread here in DPS. So this is it. My BMW die-cast toy car model. It was taken on top of the table in my living room. I use my trusty Nikon D40 (actually it's the only camera that I have) with 18-55 mm lens. I set my shutter speed to 1/250 to kill the ambience and set my apperture to 16 so I can get enough Depth of Field (DoF). I use flash positioned at the right side of the camera, shot through a diffuser. And on the left side I put a reflector. Not much post processing done to this picture, I only adjust the curve and the saturation, crop and add watermark. I like the lighting for this pict, but I think I could use one or two more extra speedlite to sculp the light even more. ![]() Feel free to visit my blog,Lighting Journey, to see further explanation and the setup shot for this picture. Cheers, Ivan |

At first glance it looks like a real car. Lighting is everything! Good job.

Nice work. I too thought it to be a real car on first look.
