![]() This image is from my Autumn Landscapes collection . It was shot at F11, 1/30 sec hand held, with a standard 18-55mm lens and an ND polarizing filter. Thank you for your comments I was asked to post the original version so here it is. You can see I also croped it a little and cloned out the light poles, which was tricky given the fog etc...

Yes Polarizing Filter certainly helps in these cases and when there are a lot of reflection like in the water. It also great for taking pictures of the clouds, creating more contrast.

Yes the trick is to get out early in the morning while the fog is there. I call this chasing the fog !
