Default Autumn Photography: Misty Orange Maple Tree

This image is from my Autumn Landscapes collection . It was shot at F11, 1/30 sec hand held, with a standard 18-55mm lens and an ND polarizing filter. I have enhanced it slightly in Photoshop using soft light adjustment layer.

Feel free to comment or ask questions.

Thank you for your comments I was asked to post the original version so here it is. You can see I also croped it a little and cloned out the light poles, which was tricky given the fog etc...

Great shot! I'm marching down and get me a polarizing filter now!

Yes Polarizing Filter certainly helps in these cases and when there are a lot of reflection like in the water. It also great for taking pictures of the clouds, creating more contrast.

Nice composition, and I really love the mist effect. I think it's time for me to invest in a polarizing filter as well!

Yes the trick is to get out early in the morning while the fog is there. I call this chasing the fog !

Thank you Tara, it is one of my favorites as somehow it expresses a strong sense of emotion .
