Default Photographing Moving Light Source -"Galactic Rose"

Photographing a light source like a flash light or those florescent glowing tubes can be so much fun. You set the shutter to slow speed say 1/8 up to 1 sec at 100 ISO, point it at the light source and keep moving the light source. Some call it light painting. The idea is to keep experimenting with different speeds and ISO settings to get different effects.

Here is an example of a light painting one of my images that is called " Galactic Rose" because it looks like the whole universe is inside it. Its a two layer composite 1) The Rose 2) Light Painting which you will see if you look closely at the texture.

Questions?
