    Default Lotsa fun

This web site is fantastic. Excellent people, with excellent ideas.
Here is my attempt at a smoke shot...
After staring at it for awhile, I think it resembles a dog. haha

The very middle looks a little like Darth Vader?

Great tutorial! Any chance you can do one on applying the gradient? I tried doing this but cannot get the gradient to look the way your does.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the simple tutorial on this. It worked beautifully, however, I have no idea how to get the color into the smoke. I tried it in Gimp but could not get the gradient to work the way it shows up in your photo. Did this require layers in addition to making a gradient?
    Thanks much,
    Dave

    Default Smoke gradient

I was diligent and took my time figuring out how to do this, as a new Gimp user. I think the results are wonderful! Thanks so much for this website.

    Default My first attempt(s)

Great tutorial! I donít have external speed light (yet) and/or dark background to take my photos properly, so I tried the best I can to cover imperfections or use them in my favor.
