Default Water Fall Photography

Water Fall Photography is one of my passions. Here is one of the shots from my Creek Photos gallery.

This was taken at 1 sec exposure, 400 ISO on a tripod. I enhanced the colors a little in PS3 using adjustment layers such as soft light.

Default WaterFall

This looks like it could have been taken around my neck of the woods? Pacific NorthWest?
Anyhow a peaceful and powerful effect.

I used a standard 55mm lens, I think F11. Now I must admit it was not my first shot as you can imagine in fact I took many many shots probably 200 or so. It is a meditative process for me where I get in the zone so to speak. At times I get a great shot right away and then nothing for a long time. Other times I struggle to get into the the zone until the last few shots. But the secret to getting good shots is persistence and as much as you can detachment to the result. Just in enjoying the process.

I actually written a whole article about my process on this here: - Creek Photos
