![]() This is a composite of three layers. The tulip is superimposed in PS3 onto silk and then the writing over the top. Masking was used to blend the tulip into the silk. You can see more such examples in my Flower Photography Gallery. Questions welcomed ...... Vitaly - Fine Art Flowers and Tree Photography, Black and White Nature Photography |

Ed its not hard, just start with cutting and pasting some flowers onto these textures as a basic. Else just place them over your photo and decrease the opacity of that layer in Photoshop so only some of the textures shows.
I will be giving more examples soon. In the mean time check out my website for inspiration how to use textures as backgrounds for flowers etc... - New Floral Photography Vitaly |

Very cool. What would you do with a finished photo like that? Print it on canvas and hang it? Put in a magazine?

Well hopefully all of the above, but in reality it takes a while even for some of my best work to get out into the public. I have a poster publishing company that represents me and a calendar company, but it takes a while to become established. Still I feel grateful as it encourages me to produce more work.
