Okay, so I'm a total beginner with photography, but I think I've taken a few good shots.......of things at a distance.
For example, I was trying to take an up close picture of my iPod with it at eye level, and the background seems to be in focus, but I can't get the iPod to focus. My foreground is always blurry. I've been on Google all night trying to find the right settings. I've messed with my ISO, my White Balance, Compression, and I just can't figure out it. So if anyone knows how to help me, it would be greatly appreciated. |

Great camera for closeups. As you hold the camera normally, on the front left side of the lens barrel, right by the body, are 2 buttons... top one "MF" for manual focus, and the bottom one for macro. Push the bottom one in, and hold it -it will go to macro, then super macro. You can really get in there. In fact you have to be careful not to have the lens itself block the light from getting to the subject. I shoot in the "p" mode when i shoot macro. you can adjust the WB for whatever light you happen to be shooting in.Good luck
