Default New here - Attempt at HDR

Hello everyone,
What do you think of one my first attempts at HDR? Still learning and getting the hang of an SLR camera, let alone HDR post-processing.

Welcome to the forums! You've got some good lookin shots, and not too overdone so thats a big plus. That first picture has a lot of potential, I would love to see it with a wide angle so you can really see the size of the cathedral. Great job on your first try though and keep it up!

Nice pics. If I may, while I am no pro here are my 2 cents:

Pic #1 - too cool try warming up a bit. and straighten it.
#2 - Maybe just straighten a bit.
#3 - try cropping and cooling it a bit.

FYI... before somebody jumps down your throat in a bad way - read the posting rules about # of pics per post and size limits.

Great Start....

Thanks for the opinions, sorry about the error in amount of pictures and picture size.

I will read the rules.

Great work! The cathedral photo is particularly wonderful. I feel as though there should be more contrast, possibly in the blue areas but I'm not quite sure where the "dark" areas originally were in this photo so I'll just absorb this one as is

The BMW looks nice! (the car too ). The building one is good but I think you could dial down the edge highlights a bit.

The Cathedral is stunning! Where was this taken? I am agree about straightening it just a little. Im not a big fan of HDR but I have to say I like the cool tones in the shot. It gives it a completely different feel then most church or cathedral shots. Well done.
