Default My five day old son

This a a picture just taken of my newborn son.

I tried for the first time to experiment with shaped bokeh, in this case shaped as a pacifier.

I used a desk lamp (see the reflection in his eye) to highlight his face and for the pacifiers I hung up some x-mas lights in the background. I placed him according to the rule of thirds.

Equipment: Nikon D300, Manfroto tripod, Nikkor 50mm f 1/1.4G.

Yeah, remind yourself often. The years slip by so damned fast. You will regret every picture you didn't take, and you will see all of them in you mind one day. Grin. I know.

PS. My computer is FULL of my Grandaughters Pics. Because I know what I lost as my daughter was growing up. Just to let you know......
