Default Full Moon 7/25/210

Here is a picture I took the other night of the full moon in NY.

Moon

Settings:

Camera: Canon Xsi
Lens: Canon 55mm-250mm
Focal Length: 250mm
Exposure Time: 1/2000 sec
ISO: ISO 800
f/stop: f/5.6

Tripod was used and I enhanced the contrast and cropped the picture in ps4.

hey how come MY moon shots never turn out this nice!!!! I usually use a slower shutter speed, and a higher f/stop. Perhaps that is why.
I'll give it a go next full moon.
thanks for sharing Josh, beauty shot.

Wow, I have tried a number of times to take shots of the moon. I have used the similar settings, but not with a lot of luck, will keep trying though. Just one question, what time of night did you take this?
