Post It's me, Mario...

My first post here.. I decided that it was time I should also contribute..

Well, pretty simple..

Take a water tank, fill it with water and choose a good colorful object and background color...

On the left side there is a Canon Speedlite 430EX II in a DIY softbox at 1/16 power, at the back there is a yellow paper, and on the right side is a reflector.. Set the lens on manual focus and pre-focus where the object will be dropped..

good timing and u should be able to get it in at most 5 tries..

Be careful! not to spill water on your camera or flash.. try to keep your camera as far as possible...

Camera settings:
Shutter: 1/200 (max sync speed) make sure u freeze the motion
Aperture: f/8
ISO: 100
Lens: 18-55mm IS

It's me, Mario...

THANKS ALOT, I LOVE THIS FORUM AND THIS WEBSITE, KEEP THE GOOD STUFF COMING..

Cheers

nop,, keep the lens as far as you can and just zoom in...
dont even try sticking the lens to the side of the tank, cause when you drop the object the water will come out..

thanks everyone else for your nice words..

Then I'm even more imperessed with your shot .... I can see no evidence of any reflection from the outside of the glass tank. Great work
