Default 1600 using Point and shoot.......

I made this shot at an indoor go cart track-lighting was sodium,so I used auto white balance-ISO was 1600 using a Lumix G1 micro 4/3 point and shoot camera-45-200 lens at 48mm-F4 I think shutter speed was 1/80sec-I have included a 100% crop of the image.

Hi Ken. That looks an awful lot like the Daytona track in Palmy??

I have tried taking pics of the racers there a couple of times. It's not easy in that low light, and when the karts are whizzing by! Especially as the times I tried was back when I only had my P&S, and I didn't know anything about ISO.

Yes,I was there for my granddaughter's 13th birthday-(That's her in the cart)-I needed to use
1600 ISO to get a shutter speed fast enough.to freeze the cart. I pre-focused at a point on the track, and waited for her cart to arrive-I believe shutter speed was1/80sec/f4. Ken
