Very pretty daisies.
Could you also include the camera information for the shots?

Thanks a lot!
For the first photo, did you do any adjustments in editorial programs?
I love the warm colors there!

Normally, I pretty much hate flower shots, because, people take 6billion of them a day, and few are actually different in any way.
Having said that, the one on the left in your original post, is quite good. As Torria said, the color processing is very good and I like the composition a lot. Most people stick the flower right in the middle... ie lazy, not in that shot. the background in the middle is a bit distracting to me, but not too much, tough when setting these up in the future, I'd consider tying to get as plain a background as possible which will allow for the flower to really stand out/pop. Well done on that one.

The 2nd one is simply too blurry to to me. Yes I see that that one part of the petal is sharp, but that's not where my eye goes in this image so it took me a while to see it was even in focus. I think it's important, when shooting with very shallow DoF, to ensure that the part that actually is in focus to be something the eye would naturally go to.

Still, good first efforts.

Lightroom is on my wish list as well )))) I usually use Photoshop CS4 for my edits for now.

I have two Canons. One is a poin and shoot and another one is a DSLR, just got it sevral weeks ago.
You can see the info about my gear in the signature.
