Hi,
I tried to take a photo of a little toy farm that belongs to my son. Before continuing, let see the final result: ![]() I tried to give it a little realistic look, so, the grass is real I took some grass outside and cut it with scissor...Also, the background is a little bit special. Let say that the Wal-Mart bag is perfect for that scene! About the fence, I search all around the house and never found any fence that would match what I had in mind. Fortunately, I had many pens available. So I made a fence with those pens! I'm pretty happy with that home made fence! I have for you a little picture of my setting: Now the exif data: Camera: Nikon D80 Lens: Nikkor 28-80mm Exposition: 3 sec. Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 100 Flash did not fire Focal lenght: 62mm White balance: 3,400k As you can see, I used a pretty long exposure time because I didn't want to use flash. If I had use flash, the inside of the barn would be visible. I preferred much more a dark black inside than a detail inside for the barn. Because of the longue exposure, I used my wired remote. The reusable bag is pretty cool and let me add some depth and background to my photo. I used The Gimp to made some adjustements: - adjust the curve to lighten the photo a bit. - use the unsharp mask (radius at 5, amount at 0,5 and threshold at 0) to sharpen it a bit too. - create a second layer, Gaussian blur at 25, changed the mode for overlay with opacity at 70%. That's all ! I hope that you enjoyed this. I hope that I covered everything, that's my first post in that section ![]() A nice day to everyone!
