Default Shopping Trolley Rush

This was a simple shot that popped into my head one day while desperately trying to come up with something for my 365 project. The execution was fairly easy. I found a nice shiny new trolley at my local supermarket. I wanted it as new as possible partly so that it would come out nice and clean in the shot, but also so that it wouldn't vibrate too much while pushing it forward. I set my camera on the TV setting on a 2 second exposure using my 10-20mm Sigma lens at 10mm. I then sat it in the bottom of the trolley and pressed the remote to avoid vibration. I simply moved the trolley slowly down the medicine isle, giving the effect I was after. I got a few strange looks, but I reckon it was worth it!

The only thing left to do was a quick sharpening in ps, and a tweak of the white balance to give it as clean a look as possible.

This is really neat! In most of my photography, I'm usually striving to freeze motion as well as I can...I should really start to experiment with longer exposures

The aperture set automatically at f/22 on TV mode. Glad you like it!

Very cool!

I wonder if it would have worked so well with a couple items in the cart, like fruit and veggies.

Thanks for sharing, you did a good job.

Thanks guys. And yeah, the idea of putting a few items in the cart could look extremely cool - I never even thought of that!
