Default Yosemite Sunset

This sunset was taken on our way out of Yosemite National Park. This was a last shot of the trip and I did not think much about it. This is an older shot, the only think that I remember was it was taken with a long exposure, on a tripod. As I do just about all the time I took several shots of this and one out of five was great, or I thought so. LOL

It's too bad it was so dark... It would've been nicer if you took it at an earlier time cause then you would have some fill light for the subject... Or what you could do was move the camera up and try to create a picture with more of the sky... cause most of the picture is all black and it's not looking too great. But at least the sky looks nice. Good job though. What are you using?

Default Camera

It was taken with a Canon 50D, 18-250 mm lens I believe.

The sky is really nice. I would crop off a bunch of the black at the bottom toward the tree line it tends to pull my eyes toward the bottom of the picture.

Great Shot

no offense, but this is in the wrong section!

Share your shots, or Critique section, not the 'How I took it'
