I have seen many excellent pictures, in the past, of boardwalks taken in some of the most beautiful places on earth. They seem to fascinate me and I have been wanting to get one of these shots for some time. I took this shot with my 200mm lens with a 1.4 converter giving me approx. 300mm focal length. It has, purposely, foreshortened the view. The flag was yellow and I decided to try and change it to red. Used the magic wand to isolate the flag and then tried solid color but preferred color balance alteration.
Canon EOS5Dmk2 with 200mm lens + 1.4 converter. 100 ISO, F16 1/400 sec. Polariser filter.

Real nice. I love the designs on the wood going down the line.

good one. I like shots with these kind of vanishing point perspectives.. You could also try new composition angles, by lining the camera with one of the sides... so you get quite a different view.
Will post example later - flickr banned at work
