![]() It was a bright Morning and I was doing Street photography, I saw vehicles moving and i just taught of trying panning of the vehicles. I used Canon Rebel XTI with 18-55mm kit lens. I started to move the camera with the subject (vehicles) parallely in the same speed and in the same direction, with slow shutter speed somewhere 1/8 sec to 1/20 sec. I also set my camera to continues shoot mode. Shutter speed can be varied according to the speed of the subject (vehicles) movement. I took couple of attempts to get this right. The best way to get things is to practice and play with the shutter speeds. ![]() Some more photos on flickr Morris still on the Run... on Flickr - Photo Sharing! Speed has no limits on Flickr - Photo Sharing! A tripod or a monopod can also be used. Hope this will be useful. Last edited by purshi; 03-31-2010 at 04:11 PM. |

This is a lucky panning shot that I took a while ago.
![]() I spotted the bird quite late, tried to track it and was able to shoot just one frame. Even though I did not track the motion quite right, the result is still one of my favorite shots.
