Got it. You wanted better lighting than an actual lighter would give while still creating the feeling/atmosphere...

Love the shot and agree rain would help. it could be created with a sprinkler over head and i tight crop, depending how desperate you are to create the image. Just a thought. Awesome project though

This is really nice. I would never have thought of doing it this way. I especially like how the fingers appear with the reddish outlines. Two Thumbs Up.

Thanks. No, just the CTO over the flash. I made minor adjustments in Aperture but the photo essentially looks as it did 'in camera.'
