Thanks for posting the photograph and then giving a detailed description of how it was done. It is this type of posting that will help us all improve in our own endeavors. Thanks again.

Snapdragon,
I love the original shot. Great idea, and you're right about it being addictive. I have shot film for years and am about to buy a DSLR, a Canon D40. So, I am looking forward to doing a lot of playing around with water droplets as well. Thanks for posting, as everyone has said, you did an amazing job. I hope you can get a DSLR, because if you can acheive results like this with your p/s imagine what you can do with a good DSLR. Thanks again for inspiring us all. Jeff |

. I wish you luck with your new camera , but if you are wanting to use it for water drops make sure you ask the camera shop what all you will need to go with your new camera to do so . I was on the verge of DLSR ,wanting a better camera for my water drops as I am addicted . What I found out was unless you get a true macro lense , you can not get close enough to your drops & you needed an off board flash . Well that was more money than I wanted to pay to play in the water .I ended up going for a cross over camera at this point as the shutter speed is not an issue for them . Once I get more into other things I will buy a DLSR & keep my P&S s for playing in the water . Be careful and play safe . Still drops are awsome too & the shutter speed is not an issue with them . I can't wait for my first spider web of the season .Last summer I played with a spider I named Big Albert . I hope he is still around . I placed a flower behind his web and this is what I got ,I hope to do better . But it was my start with water drops ,been hooked ever since . click on the photo to ake you to the album .
