Default I love me some Juice!

Jucin' Up

Ok a quick how-to on this:
First off I used a homemade lightbox with a piece of white posterboard contoured to the background.
Then I simply borrowed a spigot off my wife's cappuccino maker. Screwed it into the apple.
Then set it up as you see with the exception of the liquid running from the spigot. That was PS'd in.
I only have one 580EXII flash so I compensated with a mirror. I used the flash wireless in ETTL and put it above the softbox but pointed it toward the camera where a large dressing mirror was sitting behind the camera to send a reflection back to the subject.

Then a took a second picture of myself pouring some apple juice into the same cup but cropped everything off that picture but just the portion I needed for this one.(just the poring juice) Then once you have both pictures open in PS use the move tool and drag the pouring juice over to the main photo. Then its just a matter of cloning quite a bit around the edges of the "pour" to get it to blend in.

I wish I would have been able to get a bit more light on the apple. If I had it to do again I would work on that.

Hey thanks all! Enjoyed making it. Sometimes you get a vision in your head and it was just something I had to try to figure out how to do.
I know the experienced PS'er would have no problem with this but I'm not, so I was pretty happy with the end result.
