Default Freezing fogg Saturday morning (Hangover cure)

After a heavy night on the tiles previous evening, I woke on Saturday morning with the worst hangover I have had for a while. Then on looking through the blinds I noticed that it was a beautifully foggy morning, thankfully not damp fog but freezing fog. So decided that this would be a great time for me to try a first attempt and taking photos in these conditions.

Few more from the weekend

Most were taken with a white balance setting of either Shade or Daylight, daylight seemed to pick up the tones in the trees alot better than shade. White Balance always annoys me but seem to have found it now.

Also have to say this was the best hangover cure ever!!! Plus I found some inspiration FINALLY and makes me feel alot more confident in my photography.

Hi Neil
These are four lovely shots but the best for me is the third one. The fog has produced a beautiful, subtle light that would be almost impossible to produce with any other way. Superb and thanks for sharing with us all.

They are all beautiful photos - I really like them! I can see how going out to take these would cure the worst of hangovers!

i love them all, they feel so peaceful and have a wonderful professional feel about them.

My personal favourite is the second one though I couldn't fault any of them

Very nice shots. I woke up to a similar somewhat rare event with heavy hoarfrost (like what you had, but frozen thick on everything around) the other day. Grabbed the camera and was shooting all over town. Fun and challenging with different lighting.

Love the third shot - not only the mist, but the concentric arcs with the round pavilion.
