Post Glowing lights & very blue sky

Settings used
8 second exposure
f 6
ISO 80

the image was not retouched, just make sure u take this type of shot during the twilight, and set the white balance to tungsten, it adds a nice effect (break the rules).

post processing:

1- Open photoshop with your image, and turn it black and white by holding Shift+Ctrl+U.

2- add a new layer (its a small icon of a slightly folded paper at the botton of the layers pallette) and choose the gradient tool (you may see it as the fill bucket tool, just right click it and choose gradient), and choose the foreground and background layer, i went with purple and green.

3- Set the layer's mode to Color, you can choos ethe layers mode in the drop down menu that is at the top of layer's pallete where it usually says "normal".

4- now to slightly burn the edges, add a new layer, choose the brush tool, set it to the color back, and the size may differ from image to another, just be sure to set the hardness to 0, and draw around the image, and set the mode to soft light.

Tip: if the black its too harsh, go ti filter>blur>gaussian blur.. and you can erase what you want..

hope this taught you something, considering im a beginner in photography (just 2 months)

Sorry, prefer the original. I'd have simply changed the colour balance to something a bit warmer.
